Finally got another spare motor complete with the 132 2L marrelli system so swapped it to my daily that had a rev counter powered off the coil cb terminal using a marrelli distributor with points.
The engine is noticably better with the electronic system but looking in the Haynes manual there is no connection for a rev counter and using the coil cb terminal looks like it may kill the electronics box.
the book shows a rev counter on the bosch system they fitted in the sport so is it possible to plug into the marrelli system to power my instrument. any ideas as I drove on the rpm rather than the speedo.
