Some retard clipped our o/s door mirror (manual) so we've bought a replacement one, but I have no idea where to begin, replacement part is fully intact, am I right in thinking I need to take the back cover off? If so, how? I heard they can crack quite easily if not removed correctly. Any helpful advice would be great, cheers.

Is it a new shape Panda? If so, I'm guessing you need to take the door trim panel off to gain access to the securing nuts/screws

Carefully prise off small trim panel on inside of vehicle with trim panel tool or wide bladed screwdriver. Use sharp scraper to release foam cover beneath to access plastic 'C' nut. Use screwdriver/small cold chisel and hammer to tap nut loose and remove. If the trim panel snaps I can send you one at carriage only cost.
