Having fixed the cold heater issue I moved on to the back lights which ceased to function recently. I'm pretty sure it is a faulty switch on the steering column. Does anybody have a secondhand 130 column switch for sale? A faulty one would do as I could use parts from it to repair mine.

Hi Dave,

I'm fairly certain Stig has one amongst the various cartons of bits he inherited from me! Did he ever locate the electronic ignition?

I had a problem with back lights which was eventually traced to worn out cable. Not obviously broken anywhere, just couldn't handle the current!

The same happened to the cable supplying the fuel pump - that one had the AA man scratching his head!
