I am a 78 year old veteran,and have had my Punto for 9 years this year,just lately I have had several things go wrong,and as I am disabled.I can not to many jobs myself although I have a shed full of tools.I have to fit a new drivers side mirror,and I would be grateful if you could give me instructions on how to fit it,as I don't want to finish up with a pile of parts I need not have removed.Thank you very much in anticipation
on inside of car pull rubber off the adjuster knob. remove the round nut. There is a little cover in the bottom corner of the cover which holds a screw, unscrew this.
rest of the plastic cover is held on by clips so just pull it off gently.
un plug speaker wire an put cover to one side.
you will now see there is a black ring and if you look closely it has little 'L' shaped holes. You need to unscrew the black ring. This is holding on the wing mirror.
i use an open pair of long nose pliers in 2 of the holes to un screw this
