Hi all, my mates Punto mk 1 standard stereo has packed up, the clock still works but no tape or radio, im going to look at it sat so i thought id ask you all for any advice before hand, cheers Chris

I've got the one from Liz's car here (I swapped it for a CD player). It's from the last of the Mk1s (1999) model. Doesn't have a clock on it though, that's in the console by the rear view mirror.

Thanks for the offer, i fixed It!!! The clip in part wasnt making contact with the main unit, so a little bend with the pliers and he was rocking again!

In so far as a Punto stereo can "rock"!

It's amazing how many parts of a Punto can be made to work just by bending something with pliers!
