Can anybody help to recommend a reputable Italian specialist garage in outer west London?
In years past I have used Gonella Brothers in Catford but now im westside it's proving hard to actually manage to get there in the same day, not to mention the trauma of tubing it home!!
I'm based just off the A40 at Target Roundabout and need to take my 92 Croma to somewhere i can trust to do a good job for some minor work remedial work and a **** good service and MoT to get her back on the road for Brooklands.

Last time I used L&M their labour rate was £45 per hour. Maybe not the cheapest but not bad. Have a word with Karl there, mention you're a Club member & who's pointed you in their direction! They do all the work on my Coupe, and I have had various 127's, 128's, Punto's etc serviced there in the past.
Another one to try is Tony Elder at Bourne End - 01628 533236. He's been working on Fiats since the 70's & certainly knows what he's doing! He's done work on my 127's and Panda recently, and does a lot of work for Mike on Tipo's etc. Again say where you got the number from. Only problem might be if you need a courtesy car?
Re: Re: Reputable Italian car garage in West London?
Well said Gavin. I would recomend either. Tony worked on Cromas when they were new!
Courtesy car may be a problem. L&M can supply if you give notice when you book. There is a good rail service from H.Wycombe to London, and a reasonable one from Bourne End vis Maidenhead if that helps.
There 's an Independant Fiat specialist in Hounslow (I think?) who has experience of old classic models as well as up to date cars- I think Tom and Jo Widdrington (our club leaders) have used him for there cars- and apparently he's very good.
Only met him once when I was in his road a few years back, the cars under his care seemed to be very well presented as I remember. Sorry can't remember the name though, but if you contact Tom and Jo they may be able to help
