Some months ago I fitted an oil cooler to the 75 as part of a product test at work. It occurred to me at the time that maybe my Fiat could do with one as it occasionally gets caned around the racetrack.
So yesterday armed with an off the shelf oil cooler kit for an Alfa twincam engine I attacked my unsuspecting 125. And you know what? It went straight on! Actually a whole lot easier than it did on the 75!
Seems that the Fiat and Alfa twincam engines share the same oil filter fittings which means-
1. Next time I change the oil in the Fiat I can take a new filter off the shelf in work instead of spending hours explaining what a Fiat 125 is in the motor factors.
2. We can now offer oil cooler kits for the Fiat Twincam.
