The Oddsocks Theatre Company are currently touring the UK with their modern day comedy version of Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet.
A classic Fiat 500 (or at least a stage prop made from panels apparently provided by Ricambio International Ltd.) features large as the Capulet (pasta restaurant owning) family daily driver! The on-stage car chase scene through the streets of 'Verona' is unique.
In fact, the whole production is unique in the way that modern and period are blended together. The production certainly played to an appreciative audience at Gaydon on Saturday night.
