2 new studs fitted to exhaust manifold, heated up the area around the stud, then heated up the stud to red, and then let it cool, heated up today, then gripped stud in vise, and turned the studs out, yey! now, fan problem!

Re: rufty-tufty (panda 1) mot whoops!

went to pick rufty up from the garage this afternoon, noticed: engine running ruff, gauges not moving (working) put some petrol in,. not moving, then the indicators not working as well,
took it back to the garage, found fuse had blown for the indicators, mike put another fuse in, blew when started up, so he put a bigger fuse (20A)
big no-no! took it home, guages gone again, I now knew what had happened, the welder who mike had pass the panda too, didn`t undo the carpet on the drivers side to see if any cable running down that side which there was, and, the stupid, careless, b**t**d had burnt the cables hence the short out/blown fuse, so now back at the garage! as for the welder (alledgerly), I am looking to go round and talk to him !!
