seized front drum on 900t

Hi,
My 900t Amigo front passenger side drum is not releasing after being pressed. I can use the blead nipple to release the fluid and it frees the brakes.
Any ideas??
Thanks,
Colin

Re: seized front drum on 900t

Sounds like the master cylinder is not releasing or the flexi brake hose to the wheel has collapsed internally.

Either replace or take apart to inspect M/C and replace hose.

Re: seized front drum on 900t

The drivers side releases so will it more likely be the hose?

Re: seized front drum on 900t

If M/C releases on the other side so yes the problem is between outlet on M/C and slave cylinder on wheel.
The hose would be number one suspect

Hi Colin/Bernie

Following all the discussion. I would agree as i had a tipo 16v which was doing the same and it was the brake hose breaking up inside.

Have Fun
