Winter wheel/locking wheel nuts

Hi, I have just traded in my Fiat Qubo and now have a set of aftermarket 5 spoke alloys fitted with winter tyres (done approx. 5k miles) which I need to sell. Also I have a set of locking wheel nuts to sell or can go with the wheels at the right offer.
If anyone is interested please let me know.
I know the weather is very mild but even in just cold slippy conditions they do make a big difference. Search the internet for a magazine review film where they drive a front drive car with winter tyres nearly to the top of an indoor ski slope whereas the 4 wheel drive version on summer tyres barely makes it 10 foot!!

regards,
Colin
Email if interested. wheels are located near Chester. delivery negotiable within reason

Re: Winter wheel/locking wheel nuts

I should also have mentioned I have a new sump plug for the diesel engine. I had it ready for the next service. It cost £27 from Fiat!!! Any offers, can be posted

Re: Winter wheel/locking wheel nuts

I haven't got the garage receipt, only the card receipt so do not know.

I should have mentioned that the alloys were new with the tyres so are in perfect condition.

That is the price for a minimum dealer order of 10!!

You should have another 9 somewhere

Re: Winter wheel/locking wheel nuts/sump plug (diesel)

so you are saying that it was a 'good price'. I wouldn't like to imagine what they could have charged!!
I still have the alloys with winter tyres, alloys in excellent condition as both the rims and tyres have done about 5,000 miles at the very most.

A good price for the dealer as you paid ten times the price

Anyway good luck selling the wheels

What exactly was wrong with the old sump plug!!?

Had it been ham fisted and butchered by some "mechanic"!!?

That is an amazing, simply astonishing fee to pay...even more so; if there was nothing wrong with the old one

The ham fisted 'mechanic' was me!!
I don't think Fiat like you to do your own work so charge the labour price in with the part??
