District 6 Wrestling Forum

Welcome to our forum. Feel free to post a message and talk about the outstanding wrestlers in District 6. We are not limited to any part of the district, so join in and post your comments!

Just remember to keep it clean and do not bash the student-athletes, coaches, other fans, and yes, even the officials!

We want to continue to make this site the best place to visit for the most informative content in District 6, and your comments and thoughts will help us to maintain those high standards!

if I feel that your comments are derogatory or just plain idiotic, you will be banned from this site without warning. This is NOT why we have this forum and if the problems continue, the site will simply shut down.

I really don't want to do that since it can be a great source of information and a great venue to share ideas as long as they are positive.

Season preview

Hey folks, just a somewhat self-serving/somewhat informational message:
The Tribune-Democrat's season preview was published today (Thursday, Dec. 7).
You can access all of the content online, but I'd ask that if you truly want to support what I do and help me to continue it to pick up a print edition if possible. While the web hits are nice, the print edition still pays the bills for most journalists.
This is three full pages of the newspaper and contains info on the impact of the new rule allowing two-piece uniforms, a look at the freshmen you need to know, a story on new Bishop McCort coach John Rizzo, key dates on the wrestling calendar, some interesting tidbits plus complete rosters, schedules and preview information on all of the teams in The Tribune-Democrat's coverage area.
If you're out of the area and can't buy a print copy, here's a link to the main story http://www.tribdem.com/sports/how-rule-change-could-help-local-wrestling-programs/article_3c6ed722-daf6-11e7-b14b-3b8e475123ce.html. Pro tip: If you use the mobile app for TribDem.com, the links to other articles don't show up. If you use a desktop/laptop or your mobile browser, they will.
I hope you enjoy the coverage. Let's get the season started!
