well no set is complete without the basement tapes prefarabley the new tree with roots set (slightly better sound) the gbs sets are also good places to start for beginners each one contains many must have tracks

I'm a french bob's "fan", but not a "specialist".The big problem I have got with bootlegs (I have bought my first bob' bootleg only one year ago, found on a simple market, for 100F, named Live in New-York 1964), has not been where to find and buy them ( it rapidly occured to me it's quite easy to find them, even supposed rare boots that are not that difficult to find), but how to choose the best ones among so many , all the more that they are not cheap. Not being a collector, but searching for the real of interest and best quality ones. That's why I give you my opinion about it:


-If 13 boots I suggest:


+The Gaslight Tapes 1962, Rattlesnake, 1cd, very easy to find


+Folksingers Choice with Cyntia Gooding, Yellow Dog, 1cd, quite easy to find


+The Freewheelin outtakes, 1cd, very easy to find


+Bob Dylan in Concert,Wild Wolf, 1cd, quite easy to find


+All Hallows Eve and More, Q, 2cd, a little difficult to find


+From Newport to the Ancient Empty Streets in LA, Dandelion, 2CD, very easy to find


+Plymouth Rock, Collosseum, 1cd, difficult to find


+Rock Solid, Junkyard Angel, 1cd, very difficult to find


+The Child Balloon, 2cd, quite easy to find


+Rough Cuts, 2cd, quite easy to find


+Guided by the Eternal Light, Tuff Bites, 2cd, can be found


+Bathed in a Stream of Pure Heat, Q, 2cd, a little difficult


+London Wembley Arena 2000, Crystal Cat, quite easy to find




I have chosen boots that provide a real plus to the officials, 13 is a good number, buying more means spending a lot of money for not much more interest, unless you are a collector, but more than 500 is the minimum number then....
