It is with much sadness and regret that I must step down from chairmanship of the Annual Ladies Party in October. I have been diagnosed with Lung Cancer and at this point I don't even know if I will be able to attend the party at all. Also past Commodore Diane Wright, who is on my committee, will be having surgery soon for the same diagnosis. We would prefer that this be a permanent placement to run the party, as both of our health situations are unknown for the future. However, to the best of our ability, we would to glad to help, in whatever way we are able, to the person or persons that choose to take this party over. Once again, we are desperately searching for a person or persons to take over the chairmanship of the Ladies Party, beginning this year for the October 2019 party. This year marks the 40th anniversary of this event, and we would hate to see it end.
