Members - If you have a dock for this year that you have paid for, and you have not put your boat in the slip for the year yet, this is a reminder that if your boat is not in your slip prior to June 27th of this year (due to the start date of the Regatta), the dock is forfeited back to the dockmaster to use and occupy for the upcoming Regatta, until all boats depart after the Regatta. I will be doing inventory of open docks on June 28th.

Also, below is dock rule number 5 as a reminder. Please reach out to me to make arrangements if you will not be putting your boat in before the 26th or anytime this season, or if you cannot abide by this rule for any reason.


5. Members who have had a permanent assigned dock space the previous year, have complied with the Dock Rules and regulations, and are in good standing, are entitled to have their same dock each succeeding year. A dock holder must have his own boat tied to his dock starting June 30th of the current boating year for at least ten consecutive days or forfeit his dock and all monies covering dock rental, and the dock will be re-assigned unless an exception is made by the "Dock Master".

5a. In the event a dock should become available for any period of time after the 10 day obligation has been met, that dock shall revert back to the "Dock Master" for temporary reassignment by club seniority. If there is no waiting list for dockage, then the dock may revert for AYC sublease eligibility at the discretion of the Board of Directors. Subleases to Affiliate AYC members are seasonal and subject to separate contractual conditions.
