Fellow members I'm sad to report long time member John Hill has passed away. John will be remembered for his his cheery attitude and always present smile whether he was collecting money at the steak roast or selling tickets at regatta John was always our man to step in when he was needed. His smiling face and more importantly his friendship will be dearly missed at Swan .

I really hope the board will make a showing. John worked many steak roasts through out the years more often then not he made the trip from Highland just to work the kitchen. He also helped at over 10+ regattas making the round trip to Highland some years 4 times. John was a senior that didn't need work hours, he just loved his club.
