I lived in Annick street until I was 8 (1958)
My grandfather was James Loftus and he was caretaker of the Grange Foundry. Prior to that he was a manager at the Odeon Cinema. My Mum was Betty Bennett nee Loftus and we had family living at the bottom of Old Shettleston Road.
Have only discovered these wonderful sites recently and they have stirred up the desire to renew family and friendship ties
