I came across this site while perusing the GlasgowGuide site and I am very interested in reading (and maybe at some point contributing to) the history of Shettleston.
I was born in 1950 (parents William and Anne Thomson living at 43 Vesalius Street) I went to St Mark`s Primary and before I left there we moved to Easterhouse. Subsequently I went to St Mungo`s. I`d love to share/discuss some of my memories of life places and people in the 50s in Shettleston. At this point however I am just saying `hello` and would love to hear from anyone who might have known us. (My aunt and uncle - Mary and Jimmy Duncan) also lived in Vesalius Street.
