I think the small "paddle steamer" on Lake Maggiore is a dummy, and was never really a paddle steamer. PLINIO was not a Lake Maggiore steamer, but a Lake Como one. She was a yacht club at Colico for many years, but a few years ago was moved to another small lake a couple of miles north of Lake Como, whose name escapes me at the moment.
BISBINO, althugh she has sponsons, was built as a screw steamer.
There is one former paddle steamer still in service on lake Como, MILANO. She has been restored to paddle steamer appearance, minus the wheels.
