Dry Rub
2 tablespoons brown suger
2 tablespoons coarsely ground black pepper
2 tablespoons paprika
1 tablespoon chili powder
1 1/2 teaspoon ground white pepper
1 1/2 teaspoon crushed hot red pepper
1 1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon garlic powder
Combine in small bowl, stir well to mix, then store at room temperature in airtight jar. Makes about two-thirds cup,
enough rub for 2-3 pounds of spareribs.
