It really wasn't like that but I guess that it sounds better to Ed that way. He did recognize the Parkinson Disease and Ed couldn't pass the eye exam so he'll have to go through loops to renew his license now. He doesn't drive, guess it is just a man thing.....Trish

It is a person thing. My Mother Believed that she could get in a car and go anywhere she wanted til she died. We didn't need to be confronted by anyone to insult her dignity. What is a license anyway. He can still do as he pleases then go through the hassle of driving without a license - which is probably what he did before he turned 16. Keep plugging!

Yeah, it's a "man thing." Before I had my "Cadillacs driven off," I would see two, three, or four cars coming toward me down the road when I knew ****ed WELL there was only one. It was no problem when there were two or four, but on those days when there were THREE, I just could NOT figure out how to aim in BETWEEN 'em!

tell him to come to huntsville and drive. i've ridden with him and even on his bad day he would be a lot better than the ones drivin around up here.they should not mess with him about his license if his doctor says it is okay for him to keep them. tiptop

I had that same problem on the night of my 60th birthday...some 30 something year olds took me out to celebrate turning 60 and after Sammy's Go Go, Irish Deli, Lynn's Den, Burley Earls, I knew everyone was drunk but me because there were two of everybody...

P.S. - Word of warning. Stay away from Tequila shooters, salt and lemon
