WHO OWNS WHOM? EZEKIEL 44

"{44:27} And in the day that he goeth into the sanctuary, into the inner court, to minister in the sanctuary, he [the priest] shall offer his sin-offering, saith the Lord Jehovah. {44:28} And they shall have an inheritance: I am their inheritance; and ye shall give them no possession in Israel; I am their possession."

Very interesting. This passage apparently refers to the Millennium, wherein there are Levitical priests, who are not yet glorified saints; for they sin. Yet to these persons the Lord declares: "I am their inheritance . . . ; I am their possession."

That idea that sinful human beings should possess God is remarkable.

This reminds one of that lovely hymn:
