GLORY OF YHWH

Genesis 3:24b
he placed at the east of the garden of Eden the Cherubim, and the flame of a
sword which turned every way, to keep the way of the tree of life.

Gen 15:17b
behold, a smoking furnace, and a flaming torch that passed between these
pieces.

EX 3:2
And the angel of Jehovah appeared unto him in a flame of fire out of the
midst of a bush: and he looked, and, behold, the bush burned with fire, and
the bush was not consumed.

And Jehovah went before them by day in a pillar of cloud, to lead them the
way, and by night in a pillar of fire, to give them light, that they might go by

of fire by night, departed not from before the people.

{24:18} And Moses entered into the midst of the cloud,

And it came to pass, when Moses entered into the Tent, the pillar of cloud
descended and stood at the door of the Tent: and [YHWH] spake with
Moses. {33:10} And all the people saw the pillar of cloud stand at the door
of the Tent;

And he said, Show me, I pray You, Your glory. {33:19} And He said,
I will make all my goodness pass before you and
I will proclaim the name of YHWH before you . . . .

Ex 34:5
And YHWH
descended in the cloud and
stood with him there and
proclaimed the name of YHWH.
{34:6} And YHWH passed by before him, and proclaimed, YHWH:
YHWH, a God
merciful and gracious,
slow to anger and abundant in lovingkindness and truth,
{34:7} keeping lovingkindness for thousands,
forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin;
and Who will by no means clear [the guilty],
visiting the iniquity of the fathers
upon the children and
upon the children's children,
upon the third and upon the fourth generation.
