THE DECLARATION OF INDEPENDENCE IS WRONG: a revision

"We hold these truths to be self-evident,
that all men are created equal,
that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights,
that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. —
That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed"

The above is simply factually in error. Neither are all the propositions "self-evident" or axiomatic so that they need no proof. The framers would have done better to have written:

"We hold these truths to be self-evident:
that the God of the Bible exists and
that the Bible is His Word.
Mankind was created sinless by their Creator, but they fell into sin. Therefore mankind stands under condemnation to death, bondage, and a destiny of misery. To restrain sin, Governments and rulers are instituted by God, governments deriving their just powers from God Who appoints them as His ministers.
Men are obligated to obey the rulers that God establishes."
