I want to take this opportunity to thank everyone for doing such a great job at getting new members for our club.

The best way to get new members is:
1. Simply ask them if they want to join the Club, if they do explain the process and benefits of joining
2. Show them around the club
3. Introduce them to members that are present, especitally the board members and Cpt. Rick (if they have a boat) and Maggie if
they have a spouse or equivalent
4. Be professional in your conduct at the club (refrain from talking negatively about the Club or our membership especially if
non-members are present)
5. Offer your assistance if they have questions or in submitting their application

Applications are at the bar and should be placed in the appropriate locations as indicated on the bottom of the application:
The first copy in the membership box at the base of the stairwell
The second copy with payment or proof of payment in the treasurer's box at the base of the stairwell
The third copy goes to the applicant as a receipt for their deposit
The last copy goes on the clipboard on the wall next to the stairwell

Remember to check the application for completeness and that the information is legible.
