ES, does your heart go out of rythm often? After my open heart surgery last year, they shocked my heart back into rythm in the hospital. Over the years, I've had that done a few times.
Well, to make a long story short........for some reason I just couldn't function after the open heart. Kept telling the doctor, but they really couldn't seem to find the problem. I had come to the conclusion that I was: 1) depressed or 2) just plain lazy and imagining my feelings.
Finally they found the problem - my heart was REALLY out of rythm. There is a new procedure (ABLASION) which can fix the problem. My cousin, Wayne Smith, had it done a couple of years ago and said heartwise he hadn't felt so good in years. I had it done a few weeks ago, Monday before Thanksgiving, and can't begin to tell you how great I feel now.
My point - if you have continual problems with heart going out of rythm, it can be fixed.
THANKS BECKY, I HAD TROUBLE RIGHT AFTER I RETIRED IN 96, I GOT ON MEDS AND DIDN'T HAVE ANY MORE TROUBLE TILL RECENTLY. I HAD MY ESOCICUS(SP) STREACHED AND SOLVED THAT PROBLEM, BUT NOW IT SEEMS TO BE COMING BACK. MAY HAVE TO HAVE IT DONE AGAIN.
