I just happen to love Gospel Music and listen to all the Gaither Homecomings on the local station. Well I just got a notice where Anthony Burger (44) that plays on all of them, died. Collapsed on stage and could not revive. The people of this realm do not make it to the News progams so thought I would tell the ones that know him and haven't heard.
Marilyn, I heard this yesterday on my way home from work and was so sad to hear of this. He was such a wonderful pianist who overcame some terrible hardships. I don't know if you knew...he was badly burned as a child. The doctors told his mother that he would never be able to use his hands. She worked with him consistently and look what he accomplished. He was playing "We Shall Behold Him" prior to his collapse!
