You're so right Horace, what I wondered about was why only little girls? He made the boys leave the room before he started shooting. And from what I can gather, He had nothing to do with the school.

Reportedly, he left a note for his wife saying it was payback for something that happened when he was 12 years old. I guessing some little girl way back then told him to get lost and get a life. It appaently had nothing to do with Amish either they thing it was an easy target, no security, no telephones, etc. I am also guessing that while this apparently was more than just a copy cat thing he probably was emboldend by the event in Colorado...A Dope kills innocent girl....then unfortunately kills himself before society gets a chance to do it.

Do any of you really see anything to be gained by rehashing horror like this...which we've ALL already seen reported, hashed and REhashed on ALL the news channels for day and DAYS?

Have gone to a computer software upgrade seminar every year since 1987 in New Jersey just outside of Philadelphia, Pa. Almost every year we went to Lancaster PA. over the weekend. One of my favorite places to go. Beautiful country and met some of the people. They were a little reserved but always just as nice as they could be. If you have never been there need to make an effort to go. You will not regret it.

I so do not watch televison much anymore but I do think we need to reinforce our values. It is so not rehashing bad news it is uplifting each other and our values, I hope. If I wanted it rehashed I just need to leave the television on. WALK AWAY!
