John F. Luebs

John F Luebs, 70, passed away on Saturday, February 27th, 2016 at Coosa Valley Medical Center. There will be no funeral service according to his wishes. The family will hold a private memorial service. He was born in Fall City, NE on August 5th, 1945. He proudly served in the US ARMY during the Vietnam conflict. He is survived by his loving wife of 24 years, Kay Baxter Luebs; his son, Bill and Dee Gleason; His step children, Joey and Mia Carter, Beth and Dr. Ammar Aldaher, and Jamie and Rena Carter. Grand children and Great grandchildren, Michelle and Justin Carroll; Carter, Chloey, Cayden and Cooper. Anthony and Lacy Mobbs; Bayleigh, Gracelynne, and Conner. Bradley and Barri Carter; Myles. Patrick and Jacqueline Cochran; Riley Grace. Jared and Cassidy Mobbs; Ryleigh and Bristol. Alli Cochran; Haley Gleason; Lilly, Jackson, and Sydney Carter. He is also survived by his best friend, Robert Lombus. Memorial messages may be sent to the family at www.radneysmith.com. Radney-Smith Funeral Home in Sylacauga, AL will direct the services.

Kay is a BBC classmate of mine. My condolences to her and her family.
