Holidays, family, friends, fellowship & food. These are my memories from my youth and I hope will be memories for my kids and grand kids. It usually gets really quiet around our house about 1 hour after the feast. Even the youngest ones settle down with barely open eyes. The TV is on some football game or other and no one notices. After awhile someone asks, "Is there any of that Cool Whip and apple pie left?", and things get back to the normal din of chatter.
