I see in the DH obits that we lost another BBC alum. Ivy Clifton's older sister and the wife of the late Harold Dean Helton. Yvonne graduated in 53 I think. Her obit outlines a life of admirable service to friends family and community.
Horace back in 2002 Charlotte and I started a club at our church and called LLL Live Longer and Loving it.
We would have a speaker every month and we would have about 35 older people to come and bring some type of food.
I was looking over some papers yesterday and saw that we had 36 people to attend this particular meeting,the mayor of Trion spoke.
What was so surprising to me out of these 36 people 23 had died.
It tells me that every I live is a Blessed day.
