Can't stop, just passing through right now. So glad to see Cubby back in here. Thanks for jumping in, Sir. My better half toppled over on a step ladder, about two and a half feet high, and hit flat of her back and banged her head on a throw rug covered ceramic tile floor on Monday while putting up Christmas decorations on the mantle piece. I was outside pulling more requested decorations from the shed, but heard the commotion and ran inside to investigate. No serious injuries, but after 8 hours in ER, CAT scan, X-rays, MRI, etc she's still very sore and now complaining because I'm advising her not to drive yet. I'm so thankful for the outcome, but think the main thing she learned is to fall quietly next time!
You my cuz have just entered the age for such happenings. In the last two years my better half has fallen twice resulting first in a broken arm, then a fractured pelvis. Both very painful, many weeks recuperation in each case. She has amazingly fast healing powers though and is completely well from both. Make sure both of you start working on your balance.

Don't know how I missed this one Don. Don't know that she "fell for me". At that time in my life I was a lot faster than now and really persistent! We celebrate our 50th in a few days. Maybe she'll be up and about and less pain by then.
