fiat 130 clocks

i have a italian import 130 with km/h dash ,if i use a uk dash cluster will the mph read corectly or do you think i need to change anything else,?

Re: fiat 130 clocks

I would imagine it will read fine.

On grey import Japanese cars, you just stick an mph speedo face over the original one and they read fine - speedo cables can't tell the difference between mph and kmh

Re: fiat 130 clocks

were you looking for a speedo head in MPH?

Re: fiat 130 clocks

Hi neil,i allready have one thanks, just wondered if the speedo drive is different

Re: fiat 130 clocks

might be at the gearbox end?

Re: fiat 130 clocks

decided to remove the front of the the mph cluster with the oil ,fuel and mph in english and keep the kph clocks etc,to keep the mileage correct at 79,000 kph rather than using one with i different milage

Re: fiat 130 clocks

not a black and deccker job then!

Re: fiat 130 clocks

79,000 kph? What sort of engine you got in that?

Re: fiat 130 clocks

What 55mph in KPH! cant be this much!

Re: Re: fiat 130 clocks

I think you may have to change the speedo drive unit that is bolted to the gearbox.

Re: fiat 130 clocks

55mph is 88kmh.

The approximate conversion is 1kmh = 5/8mph. Thus, 50mph = 80kmh

Or, multiply your kmh reading by 0.625 to get to mph

That concludes today's maths lesson kiddies
