Good job Stephen. Hi everyone. I had hoped to make the 20th year reunion but, we had a family reunion to attend a few weeks after our class reunion and couldn't make the trip two months in a row. I hope the last 20 years has been good to everyone. |

I think the class of 81 should buy "real" web space-----it might run faster etc. I don't think we should rely on free space. Stephen is doing a great job managing all of this and he deserves the best!! Many of us would be willing to donate money to make this happen. Okay I am willing---anyone else?? ?Also I think we should start to consider some sort of scholarship for THS on behalf of the class of 81!! |

Greeny Weenie, I hated that "game" It was so fair when I went up against Todd Welch, and lived. Ha Ha. I new He was playing with me. What memories. I also remember the good ole football games in gym. Especially the one that, Yea, It think it was james Brown ran with the ball, right into my gut, I do believe the ball hit my spine, talk about the wind being knocked out of me. and the glassy eyes. Well, I did live thru it all. but really don't miss it. Remember Dodge ball, I bet I could have lasted to the end, but I really didn't want the full force of everyone aiming at me, so I got out early. I did like the volleyball though. |

With success foaming over our rim like a good cold head of Genny Cream Ale, this message will attempt to break the 2000 character barrier, and along the way, relate an interesting memory of Mr. Quigley. Some time during Senior Year, the Gym Department enacted the "New Games" curriculum. If you can't seem to recall the groundbreaking three rules of the new games, they were, "Play Hard", "Play Fair", and "No One Gets Hurt". Mr. Quigley pointed these out to us with a long wooden pointer on a (500) big pad and easel. Bob Champion also mimicked Mr. Quigley's serious tutoring, reviewing the three golden rules with us while Mr. Quigley wasn't looking. Great rules to live by, but to what end? I remember the first "New Game" being a version of "Slaughterball" with a slightly deflated basketball as the missile (so no one gets hurt). This was the same think tank that created "Greeny Weenie"; a game too similar to Columbian chain fights to last into the 90's. A green towel, wrapped tightly (1000) with sports tape, and covered with the blood, sweat and tears of fallen competitors, was tossed into a ring where two challengers circled each other. If you grabbed the weenie and made it back to home base before the other player grabbed it (or tackled you, or knocked you out, I don't remember) then you lived to fight another day. On the way home to base, you were, of course, allowed and expected to slap the weenie into the nose, eyes and other sensitive areas of your pursuer, (1500) all in the name of good sportsmanship. Pity the fallen warrior who allowed the enemy to capture the Weenie, drag him back to home base, smack him in the cheeks with it, and then force him to crawl back to his angry legions, surrounded by the din of Quigley hooting, "Legal Hit! He Gave 'im The WEENIE!" Let's review: Which physical skills did this game employ? Speed and agility, but winners always possessed a maniacal intent to tolerate and deal pain. Good prep for the WW |

Mostly, this is a test of the size of the guestbook messages. There isn't any indication of how large a message can be, so I plan to keep typing up through about 1000 characters, including spaces, while indicating character amounts at (250) character intervals. On a related note, Tom Aciukewicz has insisted that I relate to the class my knowledge of the curious incident involving his ISS stay. In the early part of our senior year, Tom and his friends were causing all sorts of mischief, and (500) a band of vigilante teachers swore to take down the gang. During a firedrill, Tom picked up a trash can, and moved it down the hall a few feet. This felony did not go unnoticed, and one sharp (750) teacher, Mr. Lisella, was writing up a pink slip even before the trash can had touch ground. A little-known school policy prohibited trash can moving beyond a maximum of 7 feet, and thus Tom was busted for vandalism to school property. This is only slightly less preposterous than Theresa's (1000) ISS for melodic patriotism. |
